HOW IT WORKS
Growing Minds For Kids coaching uses simple techniques which help to unlock your child’s potential. The aim is to help support children to feel happy and confident and able to cope with life’s highs and lows. As a ‘Mind Tools For Kids’ coach I am trained in using child- friendly Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques, coaching skills and language techniques which are used to interrupt unhelpful behaviour patterns and give each child a more positive behavioural choice. From here good habits can be established and embedded. The tools and techniques used are great for boosting confidence and self-esteem, fun for kids to explore and jargon free. The results are quick to take effect and the tips and tools are easy for kids to remember and practise in their daily life at home or at school.
Parents often state confidence as top of the list when it comes to what they want for their child growing up. The brilliant news is that confidence is not fixed. It can grow and develop if nurtured. When children have inner confidence from a young age they are more likely to have fulfilling lives. Every child can benefit from learning new skills to handle all the ups and downs that childhood naturally brings.
The 5 key areas that work centres around are: Grow, Create, Value, Chill and Shine
Grow – Focusing on learning and improving growth mind-set
Create – Exploring imagination and creativity in children
Value – Reinforcing positive beliefs and affirmations
Chill – Learning relaxation and mindfulness to calm a busy or stressed mind
Shine – Developing confidence and better communication
Sessions are designed with your child in mind.
Growing Minds For Kids coaching programmes and support will nurture and grow your child’s confidence and emotional intelligence and help them to see a positive way forward. The work is solutions focused and the approach is quite unlike more traditional counselling.
